From the Inside Out
It is an effort for me to explain my art. In most cases I prefer not to because I feel the art should speak for itself and maybe ask some questions too. It may also be because my art springs up from a rich and wonder-filled inner life, one that includes a deep reverence for and a connection to All That Is. At times it feels too private to share. It is my child-heart. I feel much of my art is my attempt to express from this place.
I have received mixed responses to the Kewpie doll pieces "Elevation" and "Observatory." (I posted them here today.) Some have found them to be cute while others have told me they think they're creepy. I am interested in hearing what you think and maybe why.
